Scrapping through data capture reducing works order quantity

When one of my workers records scrap on data capture, the works order quantity decreases. For example if I have a works order for 100 pieces and 3 are logged as scrap, the works order decreases to have a quantity of 97. I would like it to remain as 100.

There is a setting in the control file which will need to be changed to do this.

Once in the control file do the following:

  1. Search for DC_SCRAP_COVER

  2. Set the flag to have one of the following settings:

    1. Create New - This will create a new works order to cover the replacement quantity

    2. Up W/O Qty - Once the 3 are scrapped and the works order reduced to 97, the replacement will be added back to the works order, bringing it up to 100 again

    3. Ask Up + New - Will ask the user if they want to do option a or option b

    4. Ask All Options - Will ask the customer if they want do option a, option b or nothing

    5. Nothing - The works order will stay at 97

If you have the issue described your current setting is likely option e. Please choose which other option best suits the needs of your business.
