How to determine calendar weeks

My Calendar week numbers are incorrect My calendar is showing it's week XX and not YY

FactoryMaster is set up as default to acknowledge the first day of the year as week one, this can be confusing for some as it may cause issues when comparing data with a third party; For example, in FactoryMaster it may show the w/c 15th August 2022 as Week 34, when in fact on a physical calendar it would show as Week 33.

This can easily be amended by changing a control flag, to do this go to:

  1. Click Options

  2. Click onto System Maintenance

  3. Click onto Settings

  4. Click onto General System Settings

  5. Click onto the Control File option

  6. Search for the control flag WEEK_BASIS

  7. Lastly go into Modify mode and change the value to ISO 1806 or 1st Monday

Basis for week number calculations:
1st Day = Week containing the first day of the year is week 1
1st Monday = Week containing the first Monday of the year is week 1
ISO 1806 = Use the ISO 1806 standard
