How to stop part notes appearing in sales order line comments

We need to stop line comments pulling through onto our Sales Orders - how do I do this?

To stop line comments from coming through onto sales orders you need to disable the SO_ADD_PART_LINE_COMM control flag. To do this:

  1. Click Options then click on System Settings.

  2. Click General System Settings then enter the Control File.

  3. Search for SO_ADD_PART_LINE_COMM control flag in the Quickbar.

  4. Enter Modify mode by clicking CTRL+M.

  5. Change the value from Yes to No.
