How to add detailed descriptions for scrapped parts in Data Capture

Is it possible to add detailed information about how a part was scrapped rather than using the predefined codes?

The DC_QUALITY_BOOKING_NOTES control flag was added from version 20.17 onwards and it allows users to record notes against the internal reject scrap, rework, and at-risk quantities. To enable this control flag, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on Options.

  2. Go to System Maintenance.

  3. Press on System Settings.

  4. Select General System Settings.

  5. Click on Control File.

  6. In the Control Item Field search for DC_QUALITY_BOOKING_NOTES.

  7. Go into Modify mode and change the value of this control flag from No to Yes.

  8. Click on Exit.

After enabling this option, you will be able to add detailed notes in Data Capture regarding scrapped products.
