How to run ClientSetup to resolve errors or install FactoryMaster on a new PC

I need to run ClientSetup.exe to resolve a error.

If you have been advised to run ClientSetup to resolve an issue or are looking to install FactoryMaster on a new PC please follow the steps below:

  1. In file explorer, navigate to the location you have FactoryMaster installed on the server. If you already have FactoryMaster on your client, follow steps 2 and 3, if it is for a new client install you will have to find the location manually and jump to step 4

  2. Right click on the FactoryMaster icon on your desktop, and press Open File Location

  3. In the folder path, jump back three steps to the FactoryMaster folder

  4. Click on the FMAST10 or FMAST11 folder

  5. Click on ClientSetup

  6. Double click ClientSetup.exe

  7. If you are looking for the licence type, it will say this at the top of the window. If you need to install or reinstall FactoryMaster onto the client, press Install.

Note: If you are running ClientSetup.exe to install FM on a new PC, make sure it is connected to the network domain. Otherwise, you will not be able to connect to the SQL server and complete step 1 from above.
