Error - 'retrieving and validating connection settings' is stuck when exporting

The status message retrieve validation settings becomes frozen and I have to crash out of FactoryMaster, when trying to run a sales invoice batch export into SAGE or synchronise a supplier.

Environment: FactoryMaster, Sage, RDS server, SQL server

This is a local environment issue which affects remote working users only. The cause if network or Internet speed issues between the RDS server and SQL server (where the FactoryMaster database is installed). Please liaise with your IT department to check the network connection and Internet speed.

As a workaround, if you log into the office, you can run the export fine.
