How to create new holiday entitlements

I need to to add in employee holiday for next year but it is saying I need to add an entitlement first. How do I do this?

To set up holidays, first, the entitlement year will need to be defined.

  1. From the Employee tab.

  2. Click on the Time & Attendance Menu.

  3. Click on the T & A Options Menu

  4. Click Define Entitlements Years

  5. Press Ctrl+M to enter modify mode

  6. Press F4 to enter a new entitlement year

  7. Ensure you enter this in correct for your business as once entered then this CANNOT be changed.

Setting Entitlements
The Shift Absence Codes will then need to be set up.

  1. From the Employee tab.

  2. Click on the Time & Attendance Menu.

  3. Click on the T & A Options Menu

  4. Click Full-Shift Absence Codes

  5. Press F4 to create new absence code

To book the absence

  1. Click on the Time & Attendance Menu.

  2. Click Absence Booking

  3. Type in relevant employee

  4. Press F5 on the correct date

  5. Click '??' and select current absence code
