Overview

You may see the following error when trying to raise a quote similar to the one below:

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

What to do next

Try the following steps below:

  1. Reinstalling the existing Microsoft .NET framework on the server resolves the fault.

  2. If Microsoft .NET framework is not installed on the server, install version 4.0 or above.

  3. Installing Windows Updates for Microsoft .NET framework will also resolve the error.

  4. Also, check the following has been whitelisted or in the firewall exceptions list:-
    ​
    C:\ProgramData\FMClient.FM0491\Live\XPA\MgxpaRuntime.exe
    C:\ProgramData\FMClient.FM0491\Play\XPA\MgxpaRuntime.exe
    TCP Port 54321

📌Note: If your FactoryMaster database is on a shared SQL instance with multiple other databases, you may need to add more RAM and processing speed to the server.
