If FactoryMaster is getting stuck on 'Configuring User Preferences' for all users onsite when trying to launch FactoryMaster. The steps below should help you to resolve this on-site.

How to resolve the issue

You can check Computer Management on the server by following the steps below:

  1. Launch the Control Panel from windows search bar.

  2. Select Administrative Tools.

  3. Then Computer Management.

  4. Then System Tools.

  5. Then Shared folders.

  6. Then Open Files.

  7. Check the users who are showing locks in the FactoryMaster folders.

  8. Close the files for all users who are definitely out of FM.

  9. Retry launching FactoryMaster.

📌Note: You may have to reboot the server.
