Licences are issued by our Despatch Department; this article can tell you more about how to apply a licence.

How to apply a licence file.

If you purchased additional licences, you will receive an e-mail which contains a license2.dat file. The licence2.dat file is the magic licence.

The licence file needs to be put in the Customer folder on either the server or the local computer. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Right-click the shortcut for FactoryMaster and select Open file location. Go back two directories; it should be FMAST10 or FMAST12, depending on the version.

  2. Open the Customer folder.

  3. Rename the old license2.dat file, e.g. license2-OLD.dat

  4. Paste the new licence2.dat file.

Once you have done this, the licence should now have been updated.
