A Kan-Ban location is one where the stock quantities are controlled automatically.
Click on the Stock Tab.
Navigate to Stock Maintenance Menu.
Then to Location Maintenance.
Click on the downward arrow in the Location Type column.
Once set up, it does not show as green until the details of the stock are entered.
F5 on "Kan-Ban>" zooms into the screen where stock details can be entered.
This will detail the Replenish Level, Minimum Stock and the Replenish From location.
Setting this up, and moving some stock in to initialize the process.
It is possible to select the specific location to replenish from if required.
Now, if some of the stock is moved out of this location.
A Movement Note has automatically created to replenish the location back up to the Replenish level.
Clicking on the Movement Notes shows which are the relevant Movement Notes for this Location.
