How to Issue Stock to a Works Order

I need to issue stock to a works order, how can I do this?

  1. In FactoryMaster, click Production

  2. Click Works Order Enquiry

  3. Find the Works Order using the QuickBar

  4. Click on the Works Order number and click View Components

  5. Find the desired operation using the QuickBar or press Enter and scroll through the list of operations requiring Stock

  6. Click on the Part Number to issue to the Works Order. Note: users can check if there is enough free stock to issue by checking the 'Quantity Outstanding' and 'Quantity Available' columns

  7. Click Issue From Stock

  8. Check the 'Batch Number' and 'Location' columns and then type in the quantities you would like to issue from the chosen batches/locations into the 'Quantity To Issue' column, then click Issue

  9. Check the 'Total Quantity to Issue' field, select whether to 'Send Confirmation' and 'Print Issue Label' and click Issue

Users will now be able to see the stock has been issued to the Works Order in the 'Quantity Issued' column.
