MA Lead times with Scheduling and MRP

I would like to know how MA lead time is taken into consideration with Scheduling and MRP.

Scheduling and MRP use lead times in different ways.

Manufacturing lead time
Scheduling looks at the Manufacturing Route and calculates the time taken directly from there.
MRP only uses the MA Lead Time (found in the Manufacturer tab of the Stocked Part Maintenance screen)

Supplier Lead times
Scheduling will use the lead times on the route for any SubCon ops - it will use the preferred supplier. It does not take into account the Assembly,=.
MRP will use the preferred supplier lead time for the component.

Scheduling will only look at the Route for its information and schedules the ops based on that.

MRP will use the MA lead time and ensure that all components are ready for the required date minus the lead time.

If there is a production calendar set within the system, the MA lead time will take into consideration the days which are set as working days, when running the MRP. However, if there is no production calendar, then the production lead time will include weekends, thus it will be calendar days.
