There are several ways to use the Sales Price Lists to update and calculate prices.
Parts which have preferred suppliers purchase prices
To set the price of a part which has a preferred supplier purchase price (normally this would be a BI part but it will do the same for MA parts which have a supplier price against them)
Click Set Markup %, which allows different percentages depending on the cost of the goods to be set.
Then the different bands can be set up, as required.
Then, when the Calculate Price tickbox is clicked, the basic price will be changed based on the preferred supplier purchase price
Adjusting all prices
Note: This will not work with parts that have a tick in the 'Calculate Price' field. Also, there has to be a basic price in the relevant field.
The "Adjust All Prices" option allows all prices to be adjusted up or down by a percentage. Here all prices, filtered by some part numbers, including customer prices will go up by 5% (This will increase all batch prices by the same percentage).
The Adjust All Prices button will not round up or down to nearest pound, so if price was £103 and increased by 3% the final figure will be £106.09, and will not show as £106.
