Local networked printers not displaying on the list or default printer does not stay selected (MyDesk)

When I go into Options,Local Machine Settings or select File, Set Printer, the local networked printers are not listed. When I select the default printer, the following day it reverts back to originally pre-selected printer on the list.

This is a local environmental issue. Please ask your IT to check the ICA Latency value for the affected users. If it is a high figure, this means the session is running very slow.

When connecting and logging into FactoryMaster, if it is taking too long, certain functions (such as local printers being mapped) are timing out. The session details may show the ICA Latency of 64,000ms.The figure shouldn't be higher than 200ms.

If the issue is only affecting certain users and they all connect to the same server, it is not a server issue. It could be anything from a VPN tunnel yor network is connecting through, to the WiFi connection, or even an faulty RJ45 cable if they are using a wired LAN connection from the PC client. Our Citirix and Hosting team don't support that, so we have no visibility at our end.

Also, try clearing the web cache and logging out of Workspace and rebooting the affected PC's.
