When setting up a contract review template, there are different options you can use to set how your contract review works. To set these perform the following steps:
Click on Options
Click on System Maintenance
Go to System Settings
Choose GENERAL System Settings
Click on Control File
The below control flags will allow you to set this as per the description:
CR_LEVEL - This will allow you to choose between setting the contract review to be done on the Sales Order as a whole (Header) or each individual line (Detail)
CONTREV_TYPE - Using this flag you can choose if your contract review will apply to a customer (Customer Account), a Customer Group (Customer Group), a Product Group (Product Group) or one contract review for all (None)
CONTRACT_REVIEW_AUTO - Setting this flag to 'Yes' will automatically attach the relevant contract review template you have set according to the setting of the control flag above. If this is set to 'No' then you will have to manually request the review on the Sales Order.
You set up your contract review template:
Click on Options on the top toolbar.
Click on System Maintenance from the drop-down menu.
Click on System Settings.
Click on SALES System Settings.
Click on Contract Review Template.
Type in the title you would like in the 'Template Name' field.
Depending on your choice in the control flag above, select where you want the contract review to apply
F5 on the Template Name and type a title for section one of your Review
Click down into the 'question' column and select the appropriate number
Tab into the next cell and type the question you wish to be asked
Tick the appropriate box for where you want to the template to appear
Press OK
Press escape several times until you go back to the main menu
Now when you create a Sales Order it will not allow you to attach a Works Order to it until the contract review on that sales order has been completed.
