How do you use movement notes within FactoryMaster? How can I create a record of stock movements that we make within FactoryMaster?

  1. Go to Stock

  2. Click on Stocked Parts Menu

  3. Choose Movement Note Maintenance

  4. Click Create Note

  5. Here you have two options, 'Adding the components of an assembly' or 'Manually selecting items to be added'. For 'Adding the components of an assembly':

    1. Click Next

    2. Press F5 in the 'Assembly Part Number' field to select the Assembly you want

    3. Type in the 'Assembly Quantity'

    4. Add in the 'Target Location'. You can choose from the list by pressing F5

    5. Moving down the list, choose which location and batch you want to move. Do this by entering the quantities in the right hand pane.

    6. Once created, you can Print Note to hand to the employee who will moving the stock. Then once the physical stock has been moved you can Confirm Note. Only at this point will the stock move in the system.

  6. If you choose 'Manually selecting items to be added' then follow these instructions:

    1. Add in the 'Destination Location'. You can choose from the list by pressing F5

    2. Click Next

    3. Searching the list of parts and batches, tick the far right tick box to include the batch.

    4. As default, ticking the box will include the full quantity of the batch, you can override this by typing over the number next to the tick box

    5. Press OK

    6. Once created, you can Print Note to hand to the employee who will moving the stock. Then once the physical stock has been moved you can Confirm Note. Only at this point will the stock move in the system.
