How to set a Default Buyer against a part number?

We would like to set a default buyer for a stocked part, how can we do this?

To set a Default Buyer against a Stocked Part, please do the following:

  1. Click Stock

  2. Click Stocked Parts Menu

  3. Click Stocked Parts Maintenance

  4. Search for the Part Number you wish to amend

  5. Press F6 to open the Stock Summary screen

  6. Press Ctrl + M to enter modify mode and press F5 on the 'Product Group' code

  7. Press Ctrl + M and then press F5 on the 'Default Buyer' column

  8. Select the Buyers Login Name and click Select
