FactoryMaster: Error - 'This document area does not contain any default layouts' when printing works orders labels

When I want to print a works order issue label, I get an error message saying that 'This document area does not contain any default layouts', but there is no template to select from.

If you are receiving this error message and you are unable to select any template, then this error is occurring because Crystal is selected as the label type for works orders. To solve this, you will need to change the WO_COMP_ISS_LBL_TYPE control flag from Crystal to Internal by following these steps:

  1. Click on Options.

  2. Go to System Maintenance.

  3. Press on System Settings.

  4. Select General System Settings.

  5. Click on Control File.

  6. In the Control Item Field search for WO_COMP_ISS_LBL_TYPE.

  7. Go into Modify mode and change the value of this control flag from Crystal to Internal.

  8. Click on Exit.

After selecting Internal as the label type, you will be able to print works orders labels using the internal templates.
