Error - 'Your current version cannot be upgraded to this version please install an earlier version'

I cannot upgrade the application due to the following error: Your current version cannot be upgraded to this version, please install an earlier version and upgrade the files then re-install this version. Lowest version required for upgrade: 12.14

One of the admin groups does not have full permissions to the FMAST folder e.g. C:\FactoryMaster\FMAST12
Please complete the following steps:-

  1. Right-click the relevant FMAST folder and select properties

  2. Select security tab

  3. Select the relevant group and click Edit

  4. Tick Allow for all permissions

  5. click OK
