Expiry Date disappears from batch details when enabling PART_HAS_EXPIRY

I have set the Part_Has_Expiry control flag to yes but cannot see where to enter the fact that the part must have an expiry date associated with it. If I look in to the Batch Details, the Expiry Date field has now gone.

The expiry date will only continue to show for parts that have shelf life days. Select the relevant part and enter a figure for the shelf life days by following these steps. The expiry date will then reinstate from the batch details.

The control flag PART_HAS_EXPIRY operates on a part to part basis. As long as the stock booked in with the number of shelf life days specified and expiry date, it will show the expiry date on the batch details. If the stock was booked in before the control flag was turned on, the expiry date won't show. If you look at parts that were set with an expiry date and shelf life days (after the control flag was activated), the expiry date is set and shows in the batch details.

To prevent this issue occurring again, please add a flag on the PO to note the expiry date must be added.
