Software Licences are updated and applied by our Despatch department. If you are on a Software Dongle, you won’t need to do anything and the licence will be updated within 24 hours. However, if users need the licence to be applied straight away, follow these steps:
From any FactoryMaster Client, run ClientSetup. A quick way of getting to this is to right-click the shortcut for FactoryMaster.
Select Open File Location.
From there, go back two directories, e.g. FMAST12
Once here, navigate to the Client Setup folder and run ClientSetup.exe
Tick the Force software dongle update checkbox and click Install
Launch FactoryMaster and log in.
This will force the Software Dongle Service to check in with the Authentication Web Servers to update the software dongle details.
