You can not change the part code once it has been created.
However you can delete it and then create it again.
In order to delete a part please follow the below steps:
Go to Stock
Select Stocked Parts Menu
Select Stocked Part Maintenance
Select the part and enter Modify mode
Press the F3 key on the keyboard
Select yes
You can now create the part again correctly.
