How to unlink a Works Order from a Simple Sales Order

I have accidentally raised a Works Order on a Simple Sales Order Line, we can not unlink the Works Order to be able to delete the Simple Sales Order line. How can we do this?

Please complete the below steps:-

  1. Select Sales

  2. Sales Order Menu

  3. Sales Order Maintenance

  4. Enter the Sales Order number in the ’Sales Order Number’ field on the gold bar search and press enter.

  5. Find the Sales Order and press F5 to zoom into it.

  6. At the bottom of the screen, click on the ’W/O’s’ option. See below:

  7. On the next screen, change the ’Qty Allocated to THIS Call-Off’ column to zero and tab off the line and the Works Order Allocation Status will now say ’Not Allocated’.

  8. Press the process button and the next screen opens up.

  9. Click on the close button.

  10. The ’W/O’s option on the simple Sales Order will then be adjusted accordingly.
