Leavers showing on The Fire Roll Call

This employee cannot be flagged as 'off site' as he/she has incomplete job bookings. Please use the 'Employee Timesheets' option to enter the finish time of any pending jobs before continuing. A data capture user is currently logged on to this operation.

The Fire Roll Call will display employees that are still clocked onto the data capture terminals but have been marked as a leaver with a question mark. This is because they have not clocked off of their last job.

To rectify the issue first you must make the employee active again:

  1. Click on Employee

  2. Choose Time and Attendance Menu

  3. Go to Employee Maintenance

  4. Tick the box at the bottom of the window labelled 'Show LEAVERS'

  5. Highlight the person in question and press F3

  6. Make a note of the leaver date, and untick the box

  7. Press OK.

    Once you have done the above, you can then clock them off:

  8. Click Employee

  9. Click Data Capture

  10. Press F5 and click the radio button for 'An EMPLOYEE Reference'

  11. Click OK

  12. Search for the leavers employee reference and click Select

  13. You will receive a message stating "You did not clock out at the end of your last shift', click OK

  14. Click Clock Off

You can now go back to the employee and reinstate the leaver by doing the opposite of steps 1-7

Note:- The Fire Roll Call only displays employees that are logged on site using the Data Capture machine. The employees that are causing the discrepancy will need to be clocked off of the Data Capture terminals.
