To change the number of decimal places for the unit price on a sales order, you can follow the steps and advice outlined below.
How to change the number of decimal places displayed for the unit price
To change the number of decimal places displayed for the unit price on a Sales/Purchase order, please follow the steps below:
Click Options.
Click System Maintenance.
Click System Settings.
Click General System Settings.
Click Currency Codes.
Press Ctrl + M to enter Modify Mode.
Select your currency code and enter the number of decimal places you require within the Unit Prices found on the right-hand side of the window.
When you have entered the number of decimal places, click OK.
โ ๏ธImportant: The maximum number of decimal places which can be set is 5.
๐Note: Recommended usage is to have the Sales/ Purchase Totals set to 2 (any higher decimal and the VAT rounding will be inaccurate when exporting to the finance ERP system). Sales Unit Prices and Purchase Unit Prices can be higher, e.g. 4 decimal places.
