If you are on a version of FactoryMaster between 20.21 and 20.23.09 we have found that users sessions were locking with the locked row error if a Crystal Report preview window was left open with closing the Crystal Report viewer. Sometimes the lock can be instant and instances it has taken 20 minutes to trigger the lock. A locked transaction needs clearing. Log everybody out of the system and restart the SQL Server FactoryMaster Service on the SQL server or reboot the SQL server to resolve the error.
Alternatively, if you know the offending user, you can end there session to release the deadlock. For example, if somebody is in works order enquiry, check Who's On The System from the options menu. End the offending session and then you will be able to print works orders fine.
Error - 'Waiting for locked row data source'
I receive the following error message when trying to log into the application: Waiting for locked row, data source: WHO Waiting for locked row, data source: ROUTEQUE
