Licences are issued by our Despatch department. If users are on an Internal Dongle they will receive a .FMLIC file. To apply the licence file please follow the below steps:
First, save the .FMLIC file either to the desktop or any other local directory on the pc.This update can be done from any FactoryMaster client and does not need to be applied on the server itself.
Find the FMAST folder by right-clicking the factory master shortcut and selecting open file location.
paste the .FMLIC file into the FMAST directory e.g. \\server\FMAST10\customer and rename the existing .FMLIC file
In FactoryMaster, click Help.
Click About Access FactoryMaster.
Click Modules.
Click Enter New Code.
Users will be prompted for the file which they can locate and then click Open.
A popup message will appear: ‘Are you sure you want to apply this licence file?’. Click Yes and the code will be applied successfully.
NOTE: if you use a Access Cloud account to launch FactoryMaster from our hosted servers, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
