In the bottom left, click Change Status

Click OK. The status of the SO has now been changed.

1. Click Sales, Sales Order Menu
2. Open Sales Order Maintenance 
3. Press Enter
4. Navigate to the Sales Order to change the status of 
5. In the bottom left, click Change Status
6. Click Change Status to Historic
7. Click OK. The status of the SO has now been changed.
