When trying to export a report, you may see the following error message:
Directory access test has failed.
Please check that the directory is correct and you have the correct access rights.
This occurs when Windows has not granted FactoryMaster permission to print to that location. You can either change the location you want to save the export to, or contact your IT department to have the permissions corrected.
Resolve the error
If the folder path does not exist
If the folder path does not exist on your system, run ClientSetup to create it.

If you are working remotely via Remote Desktop Protocol
If you are working from home using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to access FactoryMaster from your server, the export file path needs to be updated to a network share that the user can access. To do this:
Log in to FactoryMaster as an admin, or as a user account with full permissions.
Right-click the relevant report option.
Select Edit Menu Option.
In the Folder field (under Export Type), press F5.
Select the relevant network drive and sub-directories.
Click OK.
The user can now log in to FactoryMaster with their own credentials and export and open the CSV file successfully.
