Obtain a copy of the Crystal report from user and then restore in your environment. Run the Crystal Report using Crystal Report software and you will obtain the name of the view that needs amending, with a more detailed error message.
For example, William Medcalf Ltd Crystal Report was coming from customised menu option name: wml job costing export (wo range).
Build consultant manager Adam Summerton created this Crystal Report for William Medcalf Ltd. He said the view wml_JobCostTransactALL just points at 5 other views (JC for MA,BI, hours, subcontractors, other). All 6 if the views should be in Build team network drive, under the sub-directory //LBHFNP1/SCS/Build Team Drive/9.Projects/William Medcalf
The following views needed amending on the FactoryMaster database from a Access consultant (Ellis Rounce assisted with resolving this particular issue):
wml_JobCostTransactALL
wml_JobCostTransactHours
wml_JobCostTransactMaterial
wml_JobCostTransactNonStockPO
wml_JobCostTransactOther
wml_JobCostTransactSubConOperations
wml_JobCostTransactSubConReceipts
Also, some old views were replaced with new views:
vPreferredSuppliers was replaced with WML_vPreferredSuppliers
