I can't book out a tool to calibrate It

I need to calibrate a tool but the option to 'book out' is greyed out - how can I book the tool out for calibration?

The option to 'book out' greys out when a calibration is overdue, the system blocks any attempt to book the tool out until it has been calibrated. To work around this issue:

  1. Click on Production then enter Tooling & Gauging Menu.

  2. Click Tool Register then press Enter, or search for the relevant Tool Number in the Quickbar.

  3. Press F5 then, in Calibration Details change the Calibration Interval to an amount of time which would take the tool out of its overdue status.

  4. Once booked out for calibration, return the Calibration Interval back to its original state.
