Kitting Lists are not printing

When clicking Print Kits within the Works Order Kitting menu, the screen flashes and the Kitting List is not sent to the default printer. Error message says 'This document area does not contain any default layouts' when trying to print the Kitting List.

If you are experiencing this issue it is likely that the Kitting List does not have a 'Type' value set against it. Please check that the KITTING_LIST_TYPE Control Flag has a value set against it by doing the following:

  1. Click Options

  2. Click System Maintenance

  3. Click System Settings

  4. Click General System Settings

  5. Click Control File

  6. In the 'Control Item' field enter 'Kitting_List_Type' and press Enter

  7. Enter Modify Mode by pressing CTRL + M

  8. In the 'Value' column, click the drop down and select a value. By Part is the default value

  9. Click Exit
