Preventing a works order being booked in without being fully issued

I have had an occasion where one of my team members have been able to book in a works order without components being issued, how can I prevent this?

To be able to set it so that the system prevents works orders being booked in without being fully issued, do the following:

  1. Click Options then click System Maintenance.

  2. Click System Settings then click PRODUCTION System Settings.

  3. Select Works Order Book-In Options.

  4. Tick the box labelled 'Check that sufficient COMPONENTS have been issued to cover the quantity being booked'. This will add in two radio buttons to choose from.

    1. ASK the user if this is OK

    2. STOP the booking

Users with access to 'Works Order Check Override' will be ASKED even if the option is set to STOP.
If the booking is made without user input (for example through the transaction broker) then the booking will be STOPPED even if the option is set to ASK.
