How to setup alternative Resources?

We would like to set up alternative resources so that if one machine is unavailable the second machine can be used if it's available.

To setup alternative Resources, please do the following:

  1. Click Production

  2. Click Manufacturing Route Maintenance

  3. Search for your Part Number and press F5

  4. Press F6 on the Resource Code you wish to add an alternative resource to

  5. Enter in the alternative Resource Code and any other relevant information. If multiple codes are required, press F4 to add a new line

  6. Click OK
