Tool requires calibration when I have already calibrated the tool

I have calibrated a tool and it does not recognise it. A message displays, even though the calibration I have completed is in the calibration history: Tool requires calibration

Written by Jes

When this has happened previously, it is because the calibration is being attempted with a different calibration method than what was used when the tool was set up. If you are changing the calibration method when doing a calibration, it will not work. To use a different calibration method.

  1. On the 'Calibration Detail' tab, tick the box labelled 'Multiple Calibration Methods?'

  2. Press F4 to add a new line

  3. Press F5 in the 'Method' field

  4. Click on the Edit button to enter the Template, Laboratory and Calibration Interval.

  5. If you desire, you can then press F3 on the incorrect Calibration Method to delete it.

NOTE: use the audit trail(Press Ctrl + A) if you cannot remember the new method assigned to the tool.
