How to access the System Audit Data

This article can provide you with the information you need to look through the audit data that is registered to your FM system.

Overview

Users can access the FactoryMaster Audit data by pressing CTRL+A in FactoryMaster. The audit data will advise which user made a change, the date of the change and also the time of the change.

Users can access the audit data from the main screen of the system and drill down into the various modules from there, or alternatively, they can navigate to a particular area in FactoryMaster and then press CTRL+A, which will bring up a more refined audit search.

How would I see which user changed the Country Code for a particular for example?


For example, if you wanted to see which user changed the Country Code for a particular customer, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Click Sales.

  2. Click Customer Maintenance.

  3. Press the CTRL+A keys.

  4. Enter the Customer Code.

  5. Review the data.

Or

  1. On the Main Menu, press the CTRL+A keys.

  2. Expand Sales.

  3. Expand Customer Maintenance.

  4. Double-click Customer Maintenance.

  5. Enter the Customer Code.

  6. Review the data.
