How to setup the FMBrokerService?

We would like to setup the FMBrokerService, how can we do this?

To setup the FMBrokerService, please do the following:

​Please note that this MUST be ran on your server, please forward this article onto your IT team.

  1. Navigate to the FactoryMaster shortcut on your desktop and right click it

  2. Click Open File Location

  3. Click FMASTxx in the file path

  4. Click on the ClientSetup folder

  5. Click on the FMBrokerService folder

  6. Click FMBrokerServiceSetup

  7. Click Install

  8. Once installed, right click on 'FM Broker Service' in the 'Configuration' tab

  9. Click Add Application

  10. Navigate to the FactoryMaster folder and click on the Customer folder and select the 'FMSetup.ini' file. The file path will be similar to this FactoryMaster\FMASTxx\Customer

  11. Click on Live you wish to install the Broker Service for your Live system or click Play if you wish to install it for the Play system

  12. Right click on the file path which has just been created under 'FM Broker Service' and click Add User and then select the user required

  13. Click Start to start the FMBrokerService
