How to access the Audit System Areas

How can I see if something (e.g. a operation) has been marked as complete and when it was done. I cannot find the audit trail of application.

You can use the audit area of FactoryMaster to see which user has performed a certain operation on the system. For example you can see when a certain price was entered on a Sales Order. Follow the below steps:

  1. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A to access the System Audit Areas.

  2. Using the menu tree, navigate to the desired area. For the example above you would click the '+' next to Sales, and then click on Sales Orders.

  3. Click View Audit.

  4. Here, you can narrow down your search by Sales Order, Modification Date or the User.

  5. You can also run a report on the results by pressing the Report button on the bottom of the screen.


In certain areas of FactoryMaster, using the Ctrl+A shortcut will automatically bring up the audit for that area. For example, pressing Ctrl+A in the 'Sales Order Maintenance' screen will bring up the Sales Order audit we were in in the steps above. If you press Ctrl+A while in a specific Sales Order, it will bring up the audit for only that order.
