What to do next

Please ask your IT department to amend the default domain group policy, from the server, to have the minimum password length to 10 characters, which can be done by following the steps below:

  1. Expand Account Policies.

  2. Password policy.

  3. Click into Minimum Password Length.

  4. Enter 10 into Password must be at least:

  5. Click OK.
