How to enable 'Deduct Cost?' on By-Products?

We would like to deduct the cost of By-Products within Job Costing, how can we do this?

To enable Deduct Costs on a By-Product please do the following:

  1. Click Stock

  2. Click Stocked Parts Menu

  3. Click Stocked Parts Maintenance

  4. Search for your part with By-Products

  5. Press F6 to open the part summary

  6. Click Assembly

  7. Click By-Products

  8. Press Ctrl + M to enter modify mode

  9. Under the 'Deduct Cost' column select 'Yes'

  10. Click OK
