If you are finding that the settings for FMADMIN have changed, and you are getting an error message similar to below when doing an update (copy live to play) in FactoryMaster:

Error "Login 'FMADMIN' could not connect to server 'SERVERNAME/FMAST'"

The advice below will help you resolve the issue.


What to do next

Reset the FMADMIN password from SQL management studio by expanding Security and then Users and double-clicking the FMADMIN account.

You then need to enter the same password into the Factory Master application via the following steps:

  1. Click Options then click System maintenance.

  2. Click Data Manager then click SQL Logins setup.

  3. Enter sa password in System Admin Login field ( I will email you separately the sa password, since you are the onsite IT system administrator).

  4. Then enter the new password in the Admin Login field (bottom right hand corner of the window).
