How to shrink the MSQL Transaction Log file for the Audit or main Databases

In the Microsoft SQL Data folder we have noticed that the Audit Transaction Log file is over 10gb, how can we shrink this? I cannot complete a copy live to play due to the disk space on the data drive being full. How can I free space?

To shrink the MSSQL Transaction Log Files please do the following:

  1. Click Options

  2. Click System Maintenance

  3. Click Data Manager

  4. Click Shrink MSSQL Log Files

  5. Click Yes
