When FactoryMaster (FM) is running slow for all users, often, it is an environmental issue causing the SQL server to run slowly, Network speed to run slowly, or a change made to the SQL server.
Initial steps users can take to resolve this issue are (they may need to speak to their IT department for assistance):
Enquire if any changes have be made to the SQL server prior to the system running slowly (New Antivirus/Firewall, changes to an existing Antivirus/Firewall. Windows update etc).
Test if undoing any potential changes speeds up FactoryMaster.
Restart the SQL Server FactoryMaster Service on the SQL server.
Check the Network speed.
If the issue occurs after a upgrade, please run finalise update via the following steps:-
Select options
system maintenance
data manager
finalise update
This program will finalise the upgrade to this version. You should only run it if told by support after having problems with an upgrade of the software. Click Yes
Note: everybody has to be logged out of FM before the finalise update can be initiated.
