'Control flags could not be read' or 'Execution Timeout Expired'

Control flags could not be read due to the following error "Execution timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or server is not responding"

Your FactoryMaster SQL service will need to be restarted. This can be found on the server that hosts your FactoryMaster database. This service cannot be restarted on client PC. Only the server that is hosting the database. If the server is held offsite, please contact your IT or relevant database administrator who can restart this service. All users will need to be out of FactoryMaster before actioning this process. Please complete the following steps:

  1. Search for Services in the windows search and click on it when it comes up

  2. Scroll down the list until you find the SQL Server (FMAST) Service. Note: The portion in the brackets will be whatever your FactoryMaster server is called, FMAST is only the default

  3. Press Stop in the pane to the left on the list. Then press Start
