Run Copy Live to Play

This article explains the steps when running Copy Live to Play?

If you are using FactoryMaster on-premise please follow the steps below:

📌Note: When the user runs a 'CopyLivetoPlay' all of the existing data in the Play system will be overwritten with the data from the Live system. Please ensure there are no users in the Play system when this is run.
​This will work for any user and is done outside of FactoryMaster.

  1. Right-click on your FactoryMaster icon and click Open file location.

  2. Go back two directories which should take you to the FMASTXX folder.

  3. Double-Click the ClientSetup folder.

  4. Double-Click the Other folder.

  5. Run the SQLUtils program.

  6. Click Copy Live to Play and then click Go.

  7. Click OK.

For Cloud Hosted customers

If you are on our hosted servers, we will have to raise a ticket with our hosting team to action the copy live to play. Please contact support via the chat, highlighting your request.

FactoryMaster app used through Access Evo/Citrix

If you are launching FactoryMaster through Access Evo/Citrix please follow the steps below:

⚠️Important: You must be a 'Full User' to complete the following.

  1. Open FactoryMaster Play.

  2. Click Options.

  3. Click Copy Live System to Play.

    If Copy Live to Play fails to run or complete, please contact support via chat, ensuring you provide as much information as possible, before doing so.
